Purrfectplay now makes its own dye-free hemp cat
collars. Our natural hemp collars feature safety break-away buckles
which are the best way to keep your kitty safe. Adjustable and gentle
on your kitty's neck as the hemp softens with wear. Wash in cold and
hang dry. Do not use with a leash. Length 7-11", 3/8" width.

Choose the fiber mix right for your cat:
Hemp Canvas: A strong yet light weight canvas. Comfy, effective, and earth-friendly. 3/8 inches wide.
Hemp/Silk Blend:
Soft and silky, this fiber has a shiny surface which glides over the kitty's neck. While these collars are washable they may stain a bit easier than the canvas. Lovely-almost dressy. 3/8 inches wide.

Perhaps you are not a rhinestone type of household but are looking for
a more natural and classic form of "bling" for your kitty. Our sweet
fine silver collar charms will bring just the right type of delicate
beauty to your kitty's collar. Infused with nature images, our charms
are made by fair trade supported Thai artisans using traditional
techniques. We finish the collar charms with durable stainless steel
split rings and metal clasps. Fine Thai silver can be simply cleaned
by using non-toxic lime juice.

Why would you put a bell on your cat's collar?
A good question! Of course they are lovely- this could be one reason. We find they are most helpful for multiple cat families where one cat is more aggressive and the other cats are pleased to hear where he or she is at. Sometimes the bells help wild life hear your cat. Mostly this is true for small rodents like chipmunks and rabbits. Birds tend not to hear bells as distinct sounds.
So- you decide if a bell is important in your home.
