Sleeping Cat Goat Milk Soap
In our 2007 festival wanderings we met the manufacturers (Just Milk
Soap) of these lovely fragrant goat milk soaps. Immediately drawn to
the restful form of the sleeping cat and the sweet smell of lavender--
we thought of you, our customers. We imagined you would love these
soaps too. They make a wonderful gift to yourself and the other cat
lovers in your life.
Just Milk Soap is a small working group supported by Heifer
International, providing job training and supplemental
income for women. Unlike mass-manufactured soap, theirs is lovingly
handmilled in small batches and made with all-natural
ingredients. Ingredients include goat milk from their herd, olive oil,
safflower oil, canola oil, shortening, and essential oils. We offer
them in Milk & Honey and Lavender.

Lip Trek: For Serious Dog Walkers and Their Lips.
For many years we have been up early every day walking our
persistent dog, Rosa. In the winter this means up at dawn, checking
the wind chill, and totally bundling up. We live off of Lake Michigan
and it is cold and blustery here in the winter. Sometimes the skin on
our face and lips takes a real beating. Finally, last winter, we found
the perfect lip balm. It is soft and smooth, but durable. Made with
high quality natural ingredients-no synthetics in this lip balm! It
has a light citrus fragrance provided by pure essential oils. We are
addicted!
We are now offering this locally handcrafted lip balm in

Mosquito Net
We have a tough time in the warmer months fighting off all manner of
biting beasties while we walk our dog. We do not like to use any
strong chemical concoctions but Mosquito Net is a light smelling and
effective way to fend off winged aggressors. It is a a 100% natural
essential oil based formula without a heavy "perfume-y" or citronella
smell. We spray it on ourselves and on our dog's bandanna.--make sure
to reapply every two-four hours as needed. Mosquito Net is water
resistant. Comes in an aluminum 4 oz spray bottle.
Mosquito Net is crafted by a local apothecary and contains essential
oils of: lavender, peppermint, cedarwood, orange, eucalyptus, lemon,
clove, citronella, pennyroyal and catnip. Blended in a base of
fractionated coconut oil (non-staining base).
We are very happy with this product- it makes a great alternative to the
other harsher products.
